Joy Scored BIG at Rite Aid with Diapers

My friend Joy, from Joy 2 Sew did an incredible job shopping at Rite Aid and it was her first time shopping there. Joy is my friend who started me back to couponing seriously and helping others stretch their dollar.

Joy just had baby and she has been trying to stock up on diapers cheaply, so I mentioned how Rite Aid had their diaper deal this week. She sent me an e-mail of how she did at Rite Aid, so here it is:

1st trans:
2 jumbo packs of Huggies diapers 8.99 each
2 packs of halls at 1.50 each
total: 21.00
video value coupons -9.00
manufact coupons: - 6.00
up rewards on this purchase: $5.00
I paid 7.10 oop (out of pocket)

2nd trans:
2 jumbo packs of Huggies diapers at 8.99 each
1 benefiber drink sticks at 7.49
total: 25.50
manufact coupons: - 8.00
up rewards from prev trans: -5.00
benefiber -$3 mail in rebate
I paid 11.25 oop (out of pocket) and still have 4 more up rewards to spend another time.

That is great Joy - she got 4 packs of Huggie diapers, Halls Cough Drops, Benefiber for only $18.35 plus like she said she will be getting a $3.00 check back for buying Benefiber and she will now have 4+ Up Rewards to use on her next purchase. All in all she most likely spent less than $3.00 per package on her diapers - GO JOY! You can visit her awesome blog at Joy 2 Sew.
  • Side note: If you have coupons for huggies you can buy them at Rite Aid til Sat. Feb 26th. and earn 2+ UP Rewards per diaper package. Up+ Rewards are something you get at the end of your receipt once you made your purchase, that you can use the next time you shop or right away for another transaction, like Joy did. It helps you pay less OOP but gives you the item you need.
Leave any comments or e-mail me at gl4moms@aol.com with any questions or shopping trips of your own.

Thanks Joy again for your e-mail and I hope everyone has a Blessed Friday!!!
